These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the cross-post service operated by cross-post ("we", "us", "our"). By using cross-post, you agree to these Terms.

1. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 13 years old to use this service.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use cross-post to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Post spam, malware, or deceptive content
• Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
• Harass, abuse, or threaten other users or individuals
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Circumvent rate limits or usage restrictions
• Resell or redistribute the service without permission

3. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of all content you create and publish through cross-post. By using our service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and transmit your content solely for the purpose of providing the service (i.e., publishing to your connected social media accounts).

4. Social Media Platforms

cross-post publishes content to third-party social media platforms on your behalf. You are responsible for complying with each platform's terms of service and community guidelines. We are not responsible for actions taken by social media platforms regarding your content or accounts.

5. Subscriptions and Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through our payment processor, Polar.sh. You may cancel your subscription at any time. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Free trial periods, when offered, provide full access to the subscribed tier's features for the duration of the trial.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Existing subscriptions will be honored at their current price until the end of their billing period.

6. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience downtime. We are not liable for any losses resulting from service interruptions.

7. Account Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before taking action, except in cases of severe or repeated violations. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

8. Limitation of Liability

cross-post is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to lost content, failed posts, or social media account issues.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless cross-post from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated Terms on this page.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the service will be resolved through good-faith negotiation first.
